A Repair Café is an event where anyone can bring a broken, but beloved item, for a free repair. Visitors are expected to stay, perhaps enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and learn about repairs with the help of an expert Repair Coach.
Repair Cafés are run by volunteers who enjoy fixing things and helping others to learn how to make repairs themselves.
The next New Paltz Repair Cafe will be held on Saturday, September 21st from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the New Paltz United Methodist Church located at 1 Grove Street in New Paltz. For more information or to volunteer, please contact hshader@gmail.com.
