Starting at the Northside Hub, there will be a facilitated one-mile sensory walk along the Fall Kill creek in Poughkeepsie, followed by a model-building workshop to help the project team of planners and designers obtain useful community insights that will directly inform the city's local waterfront revitalization goals. Participants will be able to experience the urban form of this formerly industrial waterway, and contribute to a future vision for Poughkeepsie’s other waterfront through hands-on, sensory based planning. Join the City of Poughkeepsie, MASS Design, and Scenic Hudson for two free events with James Rojas of Place It! and John Kamp of Prairieform to help support the Fall Kill Blueway Project, funded by the Local Water Revitalization Program (LWRP).
